Namibia – Desert Diamonds
“Why do you want to visit Namibia – there is only stones and sand.” That’s what one of my best friends told me once. I got curious, and now have lost track how many times I have visited this beautiful country – on my own to explore it, and as a tour guide for Leica Camera School. True, the beauty doesn’t expose itself at first sight. So, here are some places I highly recommend visiting and that I keep coming back to.

Quiver Tree Forest
The Quiver Tree Forest near xxx is surely one of the most photographed areas in Namibia. Use the campground nearby and enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The colours look unreal and heavily processed – but they are not.
Giants Playground
Just a few minutes away you’ll find another fascinating area, called “Giants Playground”.
When exploring the area, make sure to stay close to the (sparsely) marked path – you may get lost.
