Yamaha Ténéré 700
This is my reliable motorcycle for long distance travelling. It’s a 2019 T700 which replaced my Ténéré XTZ 660. I customized it to fit my needs with quite a few 3rd party parts.

Triumph Bonneville T120 Black
The Bonneville is my motorcycle for cruising in the city. I also use it for short roadtrips where I do not bring any camping gear. It’s a joy to ride, and the sound speaks for itself.
I’ve added 2 SW Motech Legacy Bags (13L) so I can easily carry enough gear. Only other modifications on this one: LED turning lights, handle bar mirrors, heated grips, luggage rails, main stand and a short flyscreen.

Navigation
Just recently I switched to a DMD2 T865x tablet. I was tired of the cumbersome process of working with tracks on the Garmin Zumo XT2 – which I still do use on my Bonneville tho for local/city riding. The tablet can be remote controlled from the handlebar, and has an OMD Scan connection. The offroad holder is mounted to the Ténérés navigation bar with a short DMD 12mm AMPS bracket.
As a backup, I carry an iPhone11, also mounted to the handlebar, with a QuadLock System.

Luggage: Mosko Moto Reckless 80
My luggage of choice is Mosko Motos Reckless 80 V3 softluggage system. I have a shorter custom seat, and a luggage plate from Touratech that is fitted with the Gnoblin for easy fixing. Passenger foot peg brackets are replaced with Tie Down Brackets from PerunMoto.
This set is complemented with a Giant Loop Fandango tankbag. It’s waterproof only with an inner bag, but undeniable the best fitting tankbag for the Ténéré.

Camping: Tent & else
My Hilleberg Staika tent is undoubtely the biggest and heaviest piece I carry, but many times it was a safe shelter in rain and storms, and I wouldn’t want to miss it. The tent, an Exped Ultra 3R sleeping pad, an inflatable pillow, and a Katabaticgear Palisade down quilt all fit into the 20 L Stinger bag, tent poles & pegs plus a small hammer go into a separate tentpolebag that comes with the Mosko luggage.
For cocking I use a rather bulky but versatile and reliable Trangia 27-1 UL gas stove.
And finally, for relaxing, I love my Helinox ground chair.

Camera: Nikon Z8
Since I started with photography some 40 years ago, I’ve used many different cameras, mostly from Nikon and Leica. Travelling on a motorcycle doesn’t offer much space, so I only carry a Nikon Z8 mirroless camera paired with a versatile Nikkor Z 24-120mm/f4 S zoom lens. My tripod is a Gitzo Traveller with a Sirui KV-10 Fluid Videohead. I sometimes also bring a GoPro Hero 13 as a Helmet camera and a DJI Drone.
